Re: Oldschool Electric Chair
This is from "This is America part 2" "La locura Americana parte 2": a shockumentary / pseudo-documentary / Mondo Film: a collection of real and fake things (with director and producer NOT caring to tell which ones are real and which ones are fake/reenactments).
The scene of the execution can be considered possibly real only if the prisoner being executed is 100% positively identified, (which didn't happen so far, afaik): honestly, i don't think this is real, most likely a reenactment, but i may be wrong. Thanks for sharing |

Re: Oldschool Electric Chair
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe death row inmates cost more $$ (taxpayers money) than keeping them locked up for life. I'm not saying to do away with the death penalty, just saying it costs more. The legal fee's, court costs, etc. which are granted to death penalty cases are pretty substantial. |

Re: Oldschool Electric Chair
This rings a bell. I think i heard something similar and if true, it shows there is something going terribly wrong. Once proven guilty they should just do the aforementioned rope thing and cremate the bodies. How expensive can it be?
