Re: Old Man Vs Train

I'm amazed and baffled by this. Is it just me, or is there something slightly comical about it too?! I felt like I could laugh at it if I wanted
We all laughed. It was funny. We're all going to Hell, byob and marshmallows.

Re: Old Man Vs Train

I say on purpose. Unless he accidentally stepped on the gas pedal instead of the brake. Happens more often than you'd think.

Re: Old Man Vs Train

~ The guy was actually running late & had previously planned to be at the crossing when the train came by, so he just ran into it with his bike.
~ He was determined & aimed for the space between the wheels, but got bounced back because of the bike, so he tried to crawl in between the wheels again, then he got pulled out & forced to stop by his 'rescuer', losing both feet in the process.
~ I think the rescuer may be in for a surprize when the suicidal guy regrets having been saved.

Re: Old Man Vs Train

Looks like a few bruising blows to chest / torso and maybe head by protuberances on the bogies but he was largely unscathed - right up until the rescuer grabs him, only then does he get his legs sliced, diced and crushed.
If it was deliberate I guess he regrets being saved, if it was an accident then I guess he REALLY regrets being ‘saved’

Re: Old Man Vs Train

i saw this 2 weeks ago only with a news site watermark on it.

i dug up the story:
A man was killed when he fell under a coal moving train at Bhadradri's Kottagudem district home. I, 50, of Jagdamba Center in the town, was on his way to Station Basti on a bicycle to work. On that route there is a railway line that carries coal from home to Dornacle.

In the process, the bicyclist lost control and fell under a train carrying a load of coal. Both legs were broken and feet cut off in the accident. Locals who saw the condition of the victim suffering from serious injuries called 108. He was rushed to a government hospital in a trolley as the ambulance did not arrive for at least half an hour.

Doctors advised to move him to another hospital as the situation was very serious. He was rushed to there where he succumbed to his injuries. Police are investigating the incident. The case was registered and investigated following a complaint by a family member.
