only way to save him would be to jump in, get him out in a timely manner, and perform cpr... not many people on earth can do that... Even I don't think I'd be able to get him out fast enough by myself.

I bet they never had a contingency plan for someone toppling into the well. They were quite resourceful in the aftermath.

To me, bizarre is having an infant balanced on one's hip getting a front row view of granddad down the well. A life time of nightmares, trauma and phobias, thanks to Mum.  |

He very well could of died of a heart attack before he fell into the well hitting his head.
