Portugal, A man, 70, died on Tuesday after being charged and gored by a bull at the start which took place in Moita, Setúbal district as part of the festivities in honor of Our Lady of Good Voyage.

The victim was a person who although not from Moita, used to come to the start and was always in the same area. He was treated on site and transported to the hospital alive but passed away soon after. The tradition that attracts thousands of onlookers in Moita, where they released three bulls during the event.

Also last year two men were killed, during the starts of the Moita festivities, after being gored by bulls. The running of the bulls return to the Avenue on Wednesday morning at 10h00.

By the end of the Parties of Moita, ending on 20 September, are planned six running of bulls.

"The starts will continue as they are only part of the Parties of Moita. This sad accident and address the condolences to the family," said the Mayor.
