Does the Philippines still have Potato cams in this day and age? That flip phone quality was so bad I thought they were blurring the victim...

So typical of how society is getting these days. Buddy is reaching out for help and all he gets in return is a bunch of phones in his face.

What a way to go, knowing people would rather film you than help you.
It looks like that but I'm pretty sure it was only Fencing response. He's not likely conscious in any measurable way after that.

The Philippines actually have a quite strong family structure. Most "children" stay at home until they are into their 30's or more. They all eat meals together, served, "family style" from large containers. The family takes care of their elderly. Very similar to most Hispanic cultures.
