This one's pure nostalgia for me since it was one of the first beheading videos that I watched when I was around 13 and it pretty much freaked me out completely, along with Kim Sun-il and Nick Berg afterward. Been a long time since I've been bothered by one to the same degree, though. |

That noise was what got me the first time I watched it. Had never before considered what would actually happen if your vocal cords were severed but you were still alive and conscious and in excruciating pain.

That sound is the dust cover flying off of his AK. It landed not far from him and they didn’t even bother putting it back on until later on in the video, that’s when it flies off again. You can actually see the AK with no dust cover in the video. Shitty AK or shitty operator.
