Old Brazilian Man Is Run Over Whilst Crossing Road
A 73-year-old man, Olégario B.d.O., was run over whilst pushing his bicycle across a road in Petrolina, Pernambuco state. By the time paramedics arrived at the scene, Olégario was deceased. The driver of the car fled the scene. |

Back in his day you could walk across a road and not have some young whipper snapper in his hi-tech wondercar come from outta nowhere. There was just wagons and tractors.
