1. People can have and carry more than one gun
2. People can have additional weapons other than guns.
3. Murder suspects have much more at stake than, let’s say, someone being pulled over for a seatbelt violation and are much more likely to “commit suicide” during arrest
4. The suspect could have been in possession of explosive device
5. The officers have obstacles in their line of sight that may be very different than the line of sight to the camera.
6. Officers vision can also be hampered by things like sun in their eyes, glares from glasses or sunglasses, reflections of the sun on reflective surfaces, wind, debris in air, numerous focus altering conditions.
7. People including officers tend to blink by reflex when firing firearms.
8. People including police officers tend to blink when others near them are discharging firearms.
9. People including police officers tend to focus on an object that poses immediate threat to their lives rather than flying objects moving into peripheral vision fields.

10. Muscle movement while a person has large amounts of adrenaline in blood are not not turned off instantly. The heart does not immediately return to normal pulse when the threat is neutralized for example.

I could go on, but I think that’s enough to discredit a totally and completely idiotic argument. And I have shit to do today.
