i know all 3 times i've been stabbed i couldn't really feel it at first... it was only after the reality of seeing something foreign protruding from my flesh that it started to hurt... then it really... really... HURT!!!

Oh dear, how awful! How on earth did that happen 3 times? Did it feel like you'd been punched at first? It's weird how when you register the injury, the pain really kicks in. Hope you're okay? |

Poor woman....the time it takes for an ambulance to arrive must feel like hours....I always think that must be the worst part, laying there in agony yet no sign of someone who is equipped to help you....

2nd guessing will soon become an overwhelming pastime from which she will get no relief. Such a heavy new reality waits for so many people every day. What a difference an instant can make. Everything occurs in an instant, but some instances are so much more problematic.

actually i was watching a special on the human body that states : when you endure such a traumatic event your body doesnt register pain until the psychological trauma is over...idk what to believe on the other hand.  |
