Given that this twat had already stolen a cop car, lead them on a merry chase, crashed the car... yeah, I'm not surprised he got shot the moment he got out. Not exactly sorry either. He didn't deserve death, but stupidity does generally get you killed...

I was under the impression officers went through the academy to learn techniques to disarm and restrain suspects. No one wants to put forth ant effort anymore! Half the time people are razed for b.s. reasons, not to mention the awful murders being committed by officers constantly! I'm a southern white chicken whose step daddy was a cop. And to me ALL lives matter and police need to be more accountable! They take the easy, lazy way out by gunning down any potential threat! If you or I did the same we would be in prison and rightly so! A badge is not free reign to be judge, jury, and executioner!!!

All you bastards whinin "ohhh he only had a knife, tase him boo whoo" just shut up. All the information you have now to make a decision the police didn't have. All they knew was a man was brandishing a knife in public, STOLE A POLICE CRUISER, led a chase, crashed the car and then got out of the car holding a weapon... Let's see, should the cops assume 'aww he just wanted a little fun and a little attention. He probably isn't packing a gun and he's probably not the type to act dangerously".
