Off-Duty Philadelphia Cop Is Shot Dead Outside After-Hours Lounge
Officer Alhassane B., a two-year veteran of the Philadelphia Police Department, was shot multiple times outside an after-hours establishment in Southwest Philadelphia. A 35-year-old man was also shot multiple times and was taken to hospital in critical condition. Alhassane, the 35-year-old, and the suspect had all "exchanged words" inside the lounge, and that verbal altercation continued as all three men moved outside. The altercation then turned physical, with the 35-year-old sucker punching the suspect before the suspect opened fire. Police have said they have identified a suspect, whom they had released photos of earlier. The suspect's name is currently withheld as charges have not been filed, but police have been in contact with the suspect's attorney. |

Off-duty, but why did a cop go to Nipsey’s Hookah Lounge which is an unlicensed nightclub that city inspectors have repeatedly cited and some neighbors described as a nuisance and argue with someone late at night in the first place.

Kizmet, it was "the will of Allah" that a law enforcement officer trained in conflict resolution and deescalation would ask gun wielding lounge lizards outside and have someone knock them in the head from behind. Good thing that man had a firearm?

It was all about ego. The *suspect guy got smacked by the one guy who was with his friend making it two against one. I’d almost say it was self defense. |
