Doesn't matter, the shooter could've easily changed his mind after-the-fact, and realized he shouldn't leave witnesses. The "hitman" even shot the victim at such close range that I'm surprised it didn't hit the off-duty officer in the shoulder. In that moment, there's an immediate threat to everyone's life, and when your life is on the line, there's no time to contemplate whether you're truly safe. In reality, it's not safe in that moment. |
