Brazil, An attempted robbery ended in a double murder, on Sunday afternoon (29/6/2014) in Fortaleza.

According to information two men on a motorcycle stormed the premises of a steakhouse announcing the robbery. However, a military policeman in civilian clothes, was in place and reacted. There was a quick exchange of fire and the 2 bandits were shot, as well as the MP.

One of the assailants died near the counter of the establishment and his accomplice fell lifeless on the pavement.

The policeman suffered a shot and was transported to the hospital. Security at the hospital had to be strengthened as rumors emerged that friends of the dead robbers were threatening to go to the hospital to kill the MP.

That steakhouse in situated on a very busy road; goes to show how brazen these idiots were. Hell is the next steakhouse they go to, and they'll be the steak.

These robbers had big balls in trying to rob the place at a busy street, but the cop had bigger balls!! nice shooting, the first shooting dropped the robber like a sack of potatoes, the second tried to sneak through the opening but he had too much rice and beans for lunch and didn't fit.

The threat of revenge by the robbers' fellow gangsters illustrates the reality, in some places, that the basic interactive dynamic is one of gang warfare where the police are just one gang among many. The main difference between the police and the other gangs is that the former get their equipment and training out of the public treasury while the other gangs pay for theirs via their business activities (drugs, prostitution, gambling, etc.) Not that the police don't dabble in those means of finance also.
