The title of the thread has it backwards. The article posted with the OP states the victim was a 48 year old retired firefighter, and the shooter was the off duty cop. Looks like a justified shooting to me though. The victim pulled a gun unnecessarily, trying to be a tough guy, and then found out the other guy also had a gun.  |

Did you guys read the story? The shooter was an off duty cop, the dead guy was a retired firefighter. Cop is free because it was determined to be self defense. The title is wrong  |
