Almost happened to me back in 2004, was just stepping off the city bus after working required high school community service hours at the hospital records dept, everybody suddenly screamed NOoooo! and STooppp! as I was exiting the sliding doors, another bus of the same type came whizzing by at 40+ MPH, I would have been a smear if I had stepped outside those doors.

IKR, I bet many of us on here must have been just seconds away from instant death. I also could have died T-boned in my car by a 100+ MPH speeding pick-up truck back in the late 80's, but I was always cautious, even when I had the right of way as that was the case, thanks to that I avoided a collision that would have cost me my life.  |
