You’re still talking out of your ass man. The idea behind defund is that police departments have no fucking business owning armored personnel carriers. As citizens, we have semi-automatic rifles, shotguns, and pistols. We aren’t out here with fucking grenades and RPGs. There’s a police department in Georgia with a tank. A police department has a literal goddamned tank. For fucking what?

The idea isn’t to cut the number of officers or their pay. The idea is to redirect funds being used to buy fucking military equipment for tiny ass police departments into the training and professionalism you keep bringing up.

Defund = reappropriate funds into training, better policing, etc. “Defund” was a stupid term to choose to sum up the idea. Not sure who came up with it. But defund != disband or dismantle.

Election Defense Fund = Trump & Co taking money from people stupid enough to believe he has any sliver of a chance to somehow flip the results of the election.

How are those two anything alike? One will have positive results, one is just taking money from dumbasses.
