Re: Nigerian Football Player Has Cardiac Arrest On The Field
For a brief minute there I thought to myself, “Holy shit, are we about to get the cinematic experience with this one? The camera angle switched to a closer view……..” of his fuckin ankles. The first shot was better then the closeup lol. |

In Knee-jzer (CNN pronunciation) at least he had a fighting chance. In darkest Chicago, bystanders would be laughing "tee-hee-hee, he's snoring!"...

Re: Nigerian Football Player Has Cardiac Arrest On The Field
A Nigerian footballer identified as K. collapsed and died while playing at the Green Field Football Ground in the Lekki area of Lagos, leaving families, friends and fans into mourning. The 31-year-old, who was not playing for any professional football team in Nigeria, died at about 6.30pm on Friday, 30 September. K. appeared totally exhausted and fell to the ground, with his playing teammates not immediately noticing his fall. When they eventually noticed something was wrong, they started pouring water on the head and face of K. before rushing him to the hospital. K. was rushed to Ever Care Hospital in Lekki where he was confirmed dead by the doctor on duty. His corpse is currently at a public morgue for autopsy, as investigations by police into his death have begun. happens more as you think: August 12, 1989. Perhaps, the most mournful night in the country when Samuel Okaraji collapsed and died while playing against Angola in a FIFA World Cup qualifier. An autopsy revealed that the Nigerian star had an enlarged heart and then a sudden cardiac arrest. There’s quite a list of Nigerian footballers that suddenly died while playing a game. Amir Angwe of Julius Berger collapsed and die while playing in October 29, 1995 John Ikoroma of Al-Wahda S.C.C in February 2000 Endurance Idahor of Al-Merrekah in March 6, 2010 Victor Omogbehim of Iford FC in August 8, 2010 Emmanuel Ogoli of Ocean Boys FC in December 12, 2010 Chinonso Ihelwere of Bedford in August 5, 2012 Shetemi Ayetigbo of Belvedere in May 31, 2015 David Oniya of T-Team in June 13, 2015 |

Re: Nigerian Football Player Has Cardiac Arrest On The Field
I see those compilation vids of football players (soccer where I'm from) overreacting to the smallest touch and pretending to be severely crippled, writhing on the ground. I wonder if the other players didn't react quickly due to them assuming he was crying wolf.
