Yeah, my thought was there must not have been any tires around that day.
I'm just thankful that cute kid with the tire in the pic wasn't the victim. We all remember (well, most of us anyway) that video here where the mob did in fact lynch a child

OP's description described the victim as a "madman". I take they don't believe in silly, nonsensical terms and legalisms as "Not Responsible By Reason of Insanity" in Nigeria
