We are literally turning into a Third World piece of shit country. The audacity of that man to walk by at the end without even as much as a glance. People like that should be fucking arrested. It should be illegal not to render aid in the US. She was clearly wearing her NYFD uniform. People may have opinions on cops but to ignore a bleeding firefighter??? We know that people from New York are usually unempathetic pieces of shit but not to this degree. I’m literally appalled. I hope to God the 2nd guy said he was getting help. Unrelated but I noticed someone unconscious on the sidewalk this week. Probably 20 people out door dining and no one did anything until I did. I had to yell at people to help me. Bystander syndrome is real (I’ve previously told the fckd up story of me experiencing this at a fatal car fire). Luckily this time the man was going to recover. He had a seizure disorder. Unfortunately it happened on cement which caused a significant head laceration & broken cheekbone. I wonder how long he would have laid there face fucking down if I hadn’t noticed him & called 911. Idk...some people would say we’re sick to be members of this site but I could bet money that 75% of the regulars here would take life saving action if needed. This place has made me a better person in the sense I’m more aware in real life and understand that it takes just 1 person to potentially save someones life. |
