I agree one billion percent. There are more good people who can actually afford better training, better weapons and will know to be responsible which such things. The gun should be an extension of everybody. Much like how a lightsaber is an extension of a force user. You give us them weapons and a license to carry, and I guarantee It will create order almost naturally.
