Re: New Mass Beheading in Vera Cruz
It gives me pleasure to know that those doing the chopping now, will likely be the chopped later. |

I have a feeling you're in for a lifetime of pleasure, then, because there is no end to this cycle in sight.

Re: New Mass Beheading in Vera Cruz
The cartels and the Mexican armed forces get their recruits from the poor Amerindian tribes in central Mexico, who struggle to put food on their tables because they don't own land to harvest nor have an education, selling their traditional arts and crafts gets them very little money, so they easily accept working as sicarios or soldiers, their life is in the line anyway. Look at photos of the Mexican armed parades on the web and you'll easily see most soldiers come from indigenous tribes. It is really easy to identify them, they are dark skinned, very short (5' 1" to 5'3"), have little chubby hands with short necks and fingers. The Mexican army had to create their own rifle to accomodate the short arms and fingers of these men so they could operate them easier than the G3, which is made to European ergonomic standards that consider longer arms and fingers as well as larger hands, also using the .556 cartridge was a better option than the 7.62x51 cartridge to get a more manageable recoil and to carry more ammo due to body mass of the majority of their soldiers, most are somewhat lean on top of being short, which translates to a lot of resistance and resilience but it is a disadvantage when operating weapons with great recoil like the ones they were using in the past: G3 and FAL back in the 1960s, rifles that will have manageable recoil for a soldier weighing 190+ pounds and not the 132-150 pounds of the average 5' 3" Mexican soldier. |
