This is good example of a "mob mentality" which Democrats in the USA use quite a bit of. What happens is when a mob forms, a new kind of mindset takes over, people basically become "one" with the mob and their thinking is controlled by the mob so they do things they wouldn't ordinarily do by themselves such as riot, loot, destroy property. They don't see this rapist as a human anymore but as a thing thus they are able to murder him whereas they probably wouldn't if they were by themselves.
