Probably fear. They control and manipulate people by doing shit like that. People who live there likely don't want the same thing happening to them, so they stay quiet. ISIS/IS/ISIL/whatever is a small percentage of the population in any Middle East country, but they are incredibly ignorant and violent, and that combination serves them well. They're not the first group of people to use ignorance and violence to their advantage, and they won't be the last.

Eventually, though, they'll be gone. Until then, the regular folks who just want to work, go to school, raise their families, etc. are gonna have to deal with that ridiculous, pointless shit.

The US government funds and fosters such terrorist organizations. Muslim religion is totally incompatible with Western democracy. So the SOLUTION to end this primate madness is for all European and North American governments to quarantine every single person from every single Muslim country, remove them into a totally different location, remove all their Muslim texts, sterilize all current followers and convert them to Christians or Buddhists or whatever. The point is to completely erase their history and reform them into a more civilized democratic Western ways of living. It is the only way to end all this senseless violence. Quarantine the people of the Middle East, take away their religious texts, separate their children into safer places, and erase their history.
