Police did a huge mistake.

He left the car doors open and there is an assault rifle on all police cars.

Lucky that chain swinger was alone.

As far as the car coming up behind the guy, a cop could have been shot. That is the only problem I saw.

In such a situation, you can be so focused on your target that you simply cannot see or be aware of anything else around you. So I am not criticizing the cop.

There is an element of danger to the cops and community when dealing with animals of a certain Violent Criminal Thug *******.

They intentionally create and maintain such situations.

i am not sure what they teach in the police academy but i myself would have given him a crippling shot the first 5 seconds that clearly he was not obeying my command.

Many, if not most, cops involved in a fatal shooting experience depression, guilt, Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome, etc..

And then there is the legal complications...
