I think people were pretty fucking stupid before social media came along. Cellphones and social media just helped document it for posterity and ridicule. The internet (and DR) would be really boring without it.

Additional Info, Search operations are underway for a youth from Bhadravathi in Shivamogga, who is reported missing after a fall from a rock during his visit to Arasinagundi Falls in Kollur on Sunday. According to the police Sharath, 23, slipped and fell from a rock while observing the spectacular Arasinagundi waterfall.
