Re: Naked Man with History of Mental Illness Shot by Cop
Nothing scares the shit out of a cop more than a man with a "History of mental illness". Nothing. Except maybe a -nude- man with a history of mental illness. |

Re: Naked Man with History of Mental Illness Shot by Cop
Shooting to wound is extremely unrealistic and still considered deadly force. No department in America is going to train police officers to shoot at feet. Now a taser or even OC may of resulted in a better outcome, sure. But all this crap about “I would of shot him in the leg” is a complete load of shit. This isn’t the movies. |

crazy, naked individuals are really not much of a threat if you are capable of self defense. It doesnt matter how big or scary someone is, we all have the same weak points. Knees, elbows, and wrists.

Re: Naked Man with History of Mental Illness Shot by Cop
He apparently was Hep. C positive and the cop tried to help him twice earlier that day(Hep C being an issue since he was covered in blood when charging, so I guess that could be a concern with attempting hands attempts in the cop's mind?). I saw the footage for the "chest pain" call in the morning and the cop asked him about his last drug use at the time(he states 4 months ago, and the cop references to "you don't have anything that's going to stick me again like last time, right?") so I suppose this behavior the neighbor called 911 about could be either drug use or mental health |
