Naked Man Falls to Death from 3rd Story Window
EDIT: i can't get the video to embed properly, so if someone could fix that i'd appreciate it. this was local to me,happened on the 11th Nov... quite surprised footage surfaced as we are never that lucky. "A MAN has died after an incident in Gordon Street, Glasgow, which caused an area around Glasgow Central Station to be cordoned off. The man – who was naked at the time – fell from a third-floor window adjacent to the main Gordon Street entrance, which remains closed. Dozens of police and paramedics rushed to the scene following the incident, which happened this morning, with 100 bystanders watching the tragedy unfold." http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/sc...w-fall-9242420 |

*Guy holding the camera* "Oh look a naked dude hanging out a window about to die... oh a car, oooh a persons coat, ooooh a sidewalk!" At least he caught the action I suppose.

Re: Naked Man Falls to Death from 3rd Story Window
Police chiefs have confirmed the two cops who tried to save a man who fell to his death will be offered counselling. The victum plunged 50 feet from Glasgow’s Central Hotel moments after they arrived to interview him. The 47-year-old is believed to have been reported as a missing person and the officers were carrying out inquiries to trace him. He tried to jump through a window on the third floor. One of the officers grabbed him by the ankles in a bid to stop him. The officer cut his hands in his desperate attempts to save the man, who wriggled free and plunged to his death. Scottish Police Federation chairman Brian Docherty said yesterday: “It’s a horrific and tragic accident for all concerned. We’re content that the officers are being looked after.” The two officers went to the hotel in Gordon Street around 11.30am on Friday. When they entered the man’s bedroom, he was naked and initially indicated he wanted to get dressed. However, he then dashed for the bedroom window. Police say efforts are under way to trace his next of kin. Paramedics battled to save him after he fell on to the pavement but he died in hospital a short time later. |
