The body of a man, identified as Iago F.d.M., 29, was found decapitated in a forest in São Carlos, São Paulo state, Brazil, in the early afternoon of this Friday (2). His head was found in a location around 12km away.

The murder allegedly occurred on July 30th, but the police received an anonymous tip about the crime only on Thursday night (1) and began investigating.

Four suspects in the crime were arrested. Two of the suspects - aged 46 and 21 - are a father and son, while the other two suspects are aged 38 and 28. Another man is wanted in connection with the murder.

The Civil Police are working on the hypothesis that organized crime is involved and, based on the testimony of one of those involved, that the death was motivated by a black magic ritual.
