Uh... you might want to check your facts. Globally, covid-19 has infected 100,000 people, and killed 3,000 In the US alone, this season’s flu has infected 310,000 people and killed 18,000 That’s a current mortality rate of 3% for the corona virus and just under 6% for influenza. Not to mention an infection rate multitudes higher. A mortality rate for the population who has a virus has been more or less consistent for covid-19 Regardless if 200 people have it or 200,000 have it ... I did not quote death rates for the corona virus for the population at large (that would barely be a blip on the mortality radar), I quoted mortality rates for those who have the virus. Yes, people will die, but the mortality predictions for this virus are NOTHING compared to preventable heart disease. My only hope is that the people who are spending all their money on N95 masks, hand sanitizer, and toilet paper only have enough left to eat healthy foods at home instead of a Big Mac, or KFC donut chicken sandwich... That will actually decrease the mortality rate. Hell, I am going to start a health campaign. #dropthebigmacpickupamask The mask part really doesn’t matter as long as the user doesn’t eat the big mac... you could even substitute: “pick up a squirrel” “Pick up a vibrator” “Pick up a vibrating squirrel” The only reason to even include the mask is to jump on the fear mongering bandwagon. |

She missed any of the car. i was intently waiting for that SUV roof to receive the suicidee... someone should help her up and make her try it again. It was told she lasted two more hours after that fall... Maybe that was the sound when she fell. sounded like she went THRU something that lessened the impact before she reached the ground. |

Selfish and ignorant way of thinking. When you eat a Big Mac or a chicken sandwich you have a 0 percent chance of killing anyone else. If you willfully come into contact 100 people while infectious with Covid-19, however, 2 of them will die. If the remaining 98 think the same way you do than 196 people will die after each of them come into contact with the coronavirus. And if 9,800 people who survived that think it’s not a big deal either than out of the 980,000 people they infection 1960 will die. Maybe you just hate Boomers, and that’s a valid enough reason for you to pick your ass and not wash your hands at after touching yourself in the Walmart latrine, but if you give even half a fuck about those random people you meet each day then maybe you’ll stop celebrating your individual odds of suffering from a pandemic and quit wagging your dick at strangers because you think you know what a statistic represents. |
