Murdered Woman's Body Found Rotting Near Mining Area
Novo Progresso, Pará, Brazil The body of 32-year-old Mercia V.d.S. was found in an advanced state of decomposition in a mining region near the municipality of Novo Progresso. Mercia had not been seen for about three days, and her cell phone was found besides her body. Also found at the scene was a cap, believed to belong to 29-year-old Flávio M.V., who is believed to be the last person to be seen with Mercia before she disappeared. Flávio has been arrested on suspected homicide, although the exact cause of Mercia's death has yet to be determined. |
