Murdered After Kidnapping Attempt
Chile, A security camera recorded a murder after 1:00 p.m. when a vehicle with 3 occupants arrives at the scene. One of the subjects intimidates the victim and threatens him with a weapon. Finally, he shoots him several times and takes his life before fleeing with the third person. The murdered man was 46 years old and had no police record. Police thinks this is a kidnapping attempt that went wrong. |

Re: Murdered After Kidnapping Attempt
Yep, you can tell by the affluent neighborhood that the victim would have brought a hefty payday. It’s not a hostage crisis. It’s an argument gone sideways and somebody had a gun to settle it. Bad drug deal or something but certainly not a hostage situation. My 2 cents worth of opinion. |

Re: Murdered After Kidnapping Attempt
Unless they decided to dump him there. Why would kidnappers release their victim in the same neighborhood they kidnapped them from? That's not really the usual way they do it.

Re: Murdered After Kidnapping Attempt
Just a thought for your entertainment. The snippet of information indicates the deceased had an extensive criminal record and also comments from law enforcement suggesting they are going to invest a good deal of diligence to solve this. I personally think law enforcement is blowing smoke. I know police (related to one) and they have a term they use called "a 9 to 5 stiff", which applies to people who appear to have died a wrongful death but have a lengthy criminal record. No one works OT trying to figure out what happens. They also comment the person died of "natural causes", meaning natural per their lifestyle.
