Murder-Suicide on the Streets of Brooklyn
Location Bushwick, Brooklyn, New York Tragedy unfolded around 7:30 a.m. when a man killed his girlfriend and then himself on a sidewalk in Bushwick. Neighbors say they heard a couple arguing while running down Jefferson Avenue, towards Knickerbocker. A neighbor recalls being inside of her apartment when she heard a woman screaming “for her life” outside. She then heard three shots ring out and then silence. That silence was followed by the death of a 41-year-old man and 32-year-old woman, according to police. The man’s family identified him as Gabriel S. Sanchez‘s mother said over the phone that she did not know her son owned a gun and couldn't fathom how the situation unfolded. Gabriel and his partner, identified as Celina R., had only been dating for a few months. A small vigil was placed at the scene for Gabriel by his friends and family members. Friends and family of Celina came by later and kicked over the vigil. |

It served him right that the first shot didn’t kill him as he wanted. I’m sure the 2nd shot that usually happens after fails gun suicide, is probably because they are now missing parts of their face and/or head…. But yes, imagine shooting your self in the head or under the chin, however, and you realize fuk….i have to do it again. Maybe adrenaline helps, |
