Murder-suicide - Bodies of Man, His Wife + Her Lover
At 5pm on 14th February 2019 in Boa Vista, 41 year old V.S.C. shot his wife + her lover dead, then committed suicide. 33 year old L.M.S. + 34 year old A.D.C.R. were travelling in a car when 'V' fired shots, killing both of them. 'V' then turned the gun on himself. The police found 9 rounds of ammo at the scene. The couple had been together for 9 years + had 2 children. Three days prior to the murder-suicide, they had officialised the marriage. 'L' + 'V' had been having marital problems since the middle of 2018. A few months ago, 'V' had suspected that 'L' was having an affair.

V. went to Brasilia to work on a project for the Monte Cristo Agricultural Penitentiary (PAMC), since he was in the position of engineer of the State Secretariat of Infrastructure (Seinf) and took advantage of the trip to the Federal District to take a course. At that time, he reportedly received a photograph of L.M and A.C.D.R together. He would have called the woman and made threats that he would kill them both. Upon returning to Boa Vista, friends revealed that they were able to calm V., although they were very worried. At a family and friends dinner, she was asked about the episode and stated that she and her husband were doing well into the relationship. L. was doing a gastronomy course and selling stuffed breads. Yesterday, V. would have asked his co-workers who would like to order breads that would be ready in the afternoon. The engineer left Seinf at noon and did not return. The report confirmed that A.C. is the former husband of a cousin of her, so they had known each other for some time. |
