Re: The Murder Of Anouk Den Dekker
Must be this: Bouchra D. (25) will not have to go to prison for stabbing her half-sister Anouk to death in October 2021. The Court of Appeal in Den Bosch ruled this on Dec 11, 2025. Bouchra D. stabbed Anouk no fewer than 88 times with a knife, but the court found her not criminally responsible and, like the district court earlier, imposed a conditional TBS (Treatment Order for Mentally Ill Offenders). The prosecution had demanded 10 years in prison plus TBS with compulsory treatment. The Public Prosecution Service considered conditional TBS (forensic psychiatric treatment) far too lenient, because according to the prosecution, Bouchra was indeed partially aware of what she was doing. But to the relief of Anouk's sister and mother, among others, the Court of Appeal ruled on Thursday that the current treatment is the best course of treatment and was therefore rightly imposed. The justice system and Anouk's father consider the treatment far too lenient, partly because she also used drugs during her treatment. Bouchra is currently in a clinic in Vught and has extensive leave there. She is with her mother on weekends, and during the week she is allowed outside for four hours daily. According to the experts, her treatment is progressing well. The next step is already being considered: supported living on the same grounds as the clinic. More structure needs to be introduced into her life, for example by starting work. During the appeal hearing, the horrific evening of October 23, 2021, at Slagendreef in Den Bosch, was only briefly discussed. Bouchra had not been doing well for some time. That evening she heard voices in her head again and these voices told her that she had to kill her half-sister Anouk (20). (That's what they always say and told by their defense lawyer imo) Bouchra waited for Anouk on the landing and stabbed her in the neck and lower leg with a knife. When Anouk fled to the neighbors, Bouchra followed her. She took two large knives from the kitchen and managed to slip inside the neighbors' house just before the neighbor could close the door. A true horror scenario was unfolding at the neighbors'. The voices in her head said that it had to get 'even worse and even worse.' She stabbed her sister time and again, while the neighbors locked themselves in the bathroom with their two young children. Anouk was stabbed 88 times and died. The neighbors' dog did not survive the eight stab wounds. Meanwhile, she grabbed her phone and showed live on Instagram what she had done — to “make it even worse,” as her voices instructed. The court followed the advice of three experts that the current treatment is 'best for Bouchra' and that 'compulsory psychiatric treatment adds nothing'. According to the court, Bouchra had no choice at all to ignore voices, and given her psychotic state, she also did not consciously hide from the police. The court also rules that schizophrenia is the cause of the psychosis and not the smoking of marijuana. Bouchra suffers from schizophrenia and will have this condition for the rest of her life. Therefore, she must continue taking her medication to prevent a relapse. Medication prevents a new psychosis, experts explained during the hearing. At the end of the verdict, the lawyer looked back at Anouk's eldest sister with happiness and satisfaction. Their mother was absent from the verdict, as was Bouchra herself. The eldest sister and their mother both said during the hearing that they will not abandon Bouchra, despite what has happened. Her mother said: “I want to care for a sick child and not lose another daughter.” Her sister said that she is “proud that Bouchra dares to face her illness.” They are pleased that Bouchra can now continue the treatment she is already receiving. According to a psychiatrist and a psychologist, Bouchra's treatment is progressing well and is virtually completed. The next step is therefore supported living on the clinic grounds in Vught and a job. After the treatment, Bouchra will be monitored by agencies for a long time to come. |

Re: The Murder Of Anouk Den Dekker
She’s definitely struggling with herself. Should have been put out of everyone’s misery. She’s got a pretty face so they want to save the pretty girl. She should probably be put down like an old dog. |
