The commander of the Municipal Guard in Ipixuna do Pará was shot dead inside a pizzeria on Thursday night by hooded assailants who opened fire with pistols and a submachine gun.

Fabrício G.C. was killed at the scene after the attackers arrived in a vehicle, pursued him into the establishment and fired multiple shots, including several to the head as he tried to take cover and return fire. The assailants, described as four hooded men, fled the scene in the black vehicle and had not been apprehended as of Friday morning.
