Actually, that knife was pretty sharp.. They are removing heads with ease. I have seen much much worse beheadings that this.. It still sucks that these guys can just walk around the provinces and commit ruthless crimes.

I'm afraid you are correct. While it would be easy to wipe these people off the planet by nuking them, we'd also be destroying a geographical location and many innocent people in the area as well. So killing by nuke would not be appropriate if your goal is to improve. Same goes for using guns. You'd always wind up leaving a few strays behind and they'd eventually re-establish as another lunatic terrorist group. The only way is to educate people. Education will lead to people dropping their belief system eventually. It is difficult when Muslims threaten with beheadings for the act of apostacy. So no wonder people don't want to leave Islam. It's hard to imagine that religion could last for another half a century, but I'm sure it will be gone by 2100.
