MP Officer, Who Owns a Hotel, Shot in the Head at Reception
A military police officer died after being shot inside a hotel in the Dois de Julho neighborhood of downtown Salvador on Friday night. The victim was hit in the head. According to the Military Police, the police officer was rescued by agents of the 18th MP Battalion and was taken to the General State Hospital, but did not resist.  The military police officer was identified as E.C.J. He was a soldier of the 16th Independent Company of Military Police (CIPM / Commerce), however, he was not on duty at the time of the crime. The victim owned the hotel. A video recorded by the hotel's security system shows the crime. The action lasted for about 5 seconds.  In the video, the military police officer appears talking to three other people at the hotel reception. The criminal approaches the group, pulls out the gun and points at the victim. The policeman sketches a reaction just before the suspect shoots, but ends up being hit. During the attack, the criminal even use a person as a shield. Then he runs away. There is still no information on the identity of the suspect and motivation of the crime. The case will be investigated by the Civil Police. |

Was that other guy shot too? Or did he fall out of terror and shock? Shitty gun jammed or something, only fired successfully one time? Because the killer seemed to attempt to shoot the man who fell by the wall and the woman when she came around the desk and passed the gunman!  |
