If there's a silver lining to this shitstorm, it's that the dude in that corny 80's style car closed his door just in time to avoid having to fork out extra money in order to get it repaired. He'll need it...for all those lawsuits that are inevitably going to come his way, as if he could foresee that some dumbass on a tiny ass bicycle was going to ride so close to the fucking curb. Actually, if anyone deserves to be sued, it's the bus driver. At the speed he was driving, he was going to catch up to the biker eventually, but I was gonna say that the biker was moving a bit TOO close to that parked car. As a former bicycler myself, I ALWAYS slowed down when maneuvering around parked cars. |

I disagree with you, sir. You can spot a car in your rearview mirror because cars are wide and they make a certain sound as they approach that anyone will recognize. A bike is this thin tube that moves as quickly as the person operating it can maneuver. If there's anyone at fault here, it's the biker himself. As a biker myself, I always preferred to bike on the sidewalk or on driveways whenever possible. There's this ENTIRE empty space beside him; all he had to do was dodge around that one fence and he would have lived, but NOOOOO, he was one of these assholes who felt he was qualified to bike on the road. It doesn't matter what the law tells you it's legal to do, bicycles aren't meant for the road; stick to sidewalks and faggoty bike trails. Stay the fuck away from roads. |

My, oh, my, when will these bicyclists learn. Just like pedestrians, they may have the right of way in some cultures, but they all squish flat much easier than whatever hits them. I can't emphasize this enough, stay off the fucking streets and out of traffic! If you can't do that for whatever retarded reason, at least pay attention FFS!
