Motorcyclist Slides Into Taxi, Falls Onto Road, Gets Run Over by Pick-Up
El Carmen, Manabí, Ecuador A 22-year-old motorcyclist, Daniel C.C., was killed in a traffic accident on the Chone highway. CCTV footage captured a car attempting to turn left onto the opposing lane of the highway. This caused the taxi behind it to slow down - and Daniel, who was behind the taxi, was unable to brake in time. He crashed into the back of the taxi, and ended up falling into the opposite lane, where he was run over by a pick-up truck. He was taken to hospital, where he died hours later. No official conclusions into responsibility have been issued so far. |

The blue car and taxi drivers just went along on their respective merry ways. Blue boy wasn't actually "involved" in the accident - in a physical sense. As far as the taxi goes, I'm not even sure that the biker made contact with it. If he did it was barely a brush. The taxi driver could always say he never noticed anything, at least until later (in case there are signs of a collision on his vehicle).

 I think he had downs syndrome (which also could potentially explain the cause of the accident). |
