Re: Motorcyclist Lost His Heart and Head After Collision

wow the heart still beating from this poor dude was intense....what it do fly out from gaping hole on his neck???
Could've been from his front (which was chest-down). He was lying on his front and his back was facing up.

Re: Motorcyclist Lost His Heart and Head After Collision

Very interesting. Thank you for the info
Not fake at all. Hearts have an autonomous electrical system that works independently from the body in the event of a lack of external neurological input. It'll keep beating until the muscle is oxygen-depleted and exhausts.

On a somewhat related noted, if you ever visit an abbatoir for cattle, watch what the tongues do after they have been cut out of the animals for over 15 minutes. They still crawl along.

Re: Motorcyclist Lost His Heart and Head After Collision

the tongue has no autonomic electrical system... i did google this and in a medical journal it said a few seconds at most but i see no way it is fake as if someone had a string attached to it i am sure the bystanders would say something(although i cannot understand what they are saying) Can anyone translate what they are saying???

Re: Motorcyclist Lost His Heart and Head After Collision

his heart still beats? sure... fake?
Myocardial tissue is unique in the body. The cells are hard-wired to contract rhythmically like this. The tissue will continue to do so on its own (although probably not with any coordination) for some time even after being completely separated from the body.

Re: Motorcyclist Lost His Heart and Head After Collision

From the looks of him, that heart may have been on PED's or ROIDS. So perhaps it jumped into somebody else's body.
