On the afternoon of Sunday, October 13, a very serious accident occurred in São José da Vitória, in the south of Bahia. A motorcyclist, who has not been identified, had his body destroyed after an accident involving a truck.

According to preliminary information, the victim had collided with the truck in circumstances that are still being investigated. After the impact, the truck ran over the man. The victim's body was unrecognizable, scattered across the asphalt.

Although we rarely see this level of resolution and detail, it did make me ask "How close is too close?"

As I watched this, I began to question comes a point where I began to question why the person chose to zoom in on what they did. It had me wondering as much about the person taking the video as I was the fate of the victim.

Let's face it, you have to be a little off to upload or watch these types of videos. We are all a little bit more morbidly curious than most. Still, there was something about this video that had me asking if there could be a line that even we shouldn't cross?

Maybe not. Regardless, I hope there never comes a day where someone films my demise and my foot's literally up my ass.
