Indonuesia, Data collected from the police, states that the victim is named B.G. (46) and is a farmer.

On Tuesday afternoon a school student, used a motorbike to go home to his house and by passing through an intersection at around 1:10 A.M. the witness saw the victim lying on the side of the road with his motorcycle.

The witness then turned around and passed through a back road and he reported what he saw to the local village head.

The village head then relayed the information from the witness to several residents, who then proceeded to the location where the victim's body was found. Upon arrival, the village head reported the discovery of the body to the police.

Police who responded to the scene immediately conducted identification and processed the crime scene. The victim's body was then taken to the Regional Hospital morgue.

The head of the victim, identified as a man, was decapitated and fell to the road. For a longer time residents who passed that area at night reported seeing robbers carrying machetes trying to stop motorcyclist with the intention to rob them.
