A homicide was recorded on Saturday afternoon, May 3, in the center of Marau , in the north of Rio Grande do Sul. The victim, Tiago B, 32, was shot with a firearm on Primeiro de Maio Street, around 3 pm, in front of a car wash.

According to information passed on to the Military Police, two men arrived at the scene on a black motorcycle with a red tank. The driver was wearing a blue helmet and dark clothing, while the passenger was wearing a black jacket, shorts, a green helmet and was carrying a second jacket on his lap.

The suspects asked for Tiago and, as they approached, the passenger fired shots at the victim. They then fled the scene.

Tiago was rescued alive by the Fire Department and taken to the hospital but he did not survive his injuries and died.

The motive for the crime is still unknown. The Civil Police are investigating the case.
