Motorbike Taxi Driver Murdered While Waiting for Traffic Lights to Change
Cartagena, Colombia. An as-yet-unidentified man was shot at 12:30 noon on the 16th, while waiting for the traffic lights to change in the España neighbourhood. According to some residents of the sector, they heard four shots and saw how the driver of a motorbike fired at this person, who was a motorbike taxi driver, according to what was heard in the area. They immediately fled. According to one resident: "It was like they were following him. Once he stopped at a red light, they shot him. People tried to help him but, what the hell, he was dead". Members of the National Police arrived at the site and cordoned off the area. Moments later there were scenes of grief when two women arrived to recognise the body. They are said to be the wife and daughter of the deceased. A report from the Metropolitan Police of Cartagena is awaited. |

That looks like a fairly professional hit IMO. Something tells me, if the police do their job right, it will turn out he was into some shit he shouldn't have been. There's nearly always motive, and to do it in such a public place with cameras and such around, no doubt this was planned. Good for us though, we get a video! |
