Moscow-Fatal Traffic Accident
Two people were killed and eight injured after a minivan taxi collided with a car in south-east Moscow. “As a result of the collision, the Lexus car that crashed into the minivan taxi burned completely,” the police said. According to statistics, 30,000 people lose their lives in traffic accidents every year in Russia due to the poor state of highway networks and reckless driving. |

Russians seem to have trouble maintaining control of their cars and staying out of oncoming traffic in clear, dry conditions. The Lexus appears to be heading the opposite direction and looses control, drifting sideways into the oncoming minivan. I would guess the two fatalities were in the burning Lexus, it doesn't look survivable engulfed in flames, and if the Lexus was driving recklessly, this has a certain kind of justice, in Russia where justice is rare (almost non existent). |

that vehicle started to blaze almost instantly after impact.... that would suck to be inside that car!!! Thanks oHeLL for another outstanding piece of work!!!  |

Chances are they were dead or unconcious after getting broadsided by a van at 90 mph+. The traffic looked like 50+ mph in both directions. I think you have to hit a Lexus pretty hard to get a fire. Now a BMW or Mercedes are made to wreck and roll on the autobahn and have stronger steel frames, maybe they should have gone with the kraut luxury cars.
