Happened 3Dec24. Vid shows entire event including rescue efforts for two men crossing an iced over pond in Moscow. It was said they were motivated to cross the pond as a shortcut.

Vid 1 - The people on shore sensibly stay out of the water to avoid increasing the victim count. One man drowns.
Vid 2 - A trained rescuer arrives on scene to help rescue the second man.

Probably drunk. You gotta be careful when you try to save someone from drowning. They’ll panic and take you down with them.

Is there any chance I could get these sent to me to share with my FD as I'm over our ice rescue stuff and watching something like this is definitely something someone can learn from.
