Scientist and AAP MP Dr Sandeep Pathak ji had raised issues of Safety in Parliamentary Committee on Railways

1. Anti-Collision Device is installed only on 1400 km (<2%)
2. No data on Anti-Derailment Devices
3. Only 37000 km upgraded out of 1,28,300 km.
4. The Bullet Train Project is estimated to cost ₹1.1 lakh crore (US$14 billion), including the cost of 24 trainsets, interest during construction and import duties letting other railway issues untouched.

Trains are a big mess in India; never on time, dirty, really crowded, stinky, etc. I’ll never forget when I went to a small clinic/hospital? in New Delhi and it seemed like there was dead homeless guy just lying on the ground in a corner with no one tending to him. I was able to freely roam around the clinic or whatever it was even back where the patients were being seen by the medical staff. It was very poorly run.
