I spent a month working in that shit hole about 20 years ago in Nairobi. I had to have a dedicated driver to take me from the office to my hotel. I made the mistake of walking to the British embassy for lunch one day and got accosted by some fucking loony that said he’d studied at Oxford Uni. Luckily a security guard could see what was unfolding and basically pointed his gun at him. Massive riots one day and I watched from my hotel room 15 stories up. People, literally ripped up the pavements and looted all the shops. The place is a fucking putrid, hell forsaken cesspit. |
