he hit the truck side wise. just curious but i am going to ask. for example, usually, cars only have front airbags, if you got hit sideways, the airbag will not deploy?

There's several factors involved, but assuming there is sufficient enough force, airbags should deploy whether it's a front, rear, or side impact.

I’d have expected the off side curtain airbags to have deployed, if not all of them at once. Been to SP loads of times and they normally stick to the speed limits. Maybe he was pissed or high on something. Unlucky really, as I remember that cars can only drive on the city roads every other day, based on the car registration number, but not sure if that’s still the case. If it was his day to legally be on the road, then it truly was his day to die.  |
