Military Police soldier Ismael Palmeira da Silva , 32, died during the theft of a small plane from a farm in the Vila do Passarão region, in the rural area of ​​Boa Vista . The crime took place on Wednesday (7).

The case is being investigated by the Department of Homicide and Protection of Persons of the Civil Police, which said it had "carried out numerous steps, however, it will not comment on the ongoing investigation, so as not to disrupt the progress of services."

The body of soldier Palmeira was released for burial this Thursday morning. Ismael joined the Military Police in 2014 and currently works at the 4th Independent Border Policing Company (4th CIPMFron), in the municipality of Cantá, North of Roraima. He had already been part of BOPE.
